We have a keyless entry system and an email will be sent before our arrival with your key code. Directions to the Rowan Pod are sent when the balance is paid.
Check in is from 4.00 pm and Check out is by 10.00 am.
You can book on line and preferred payment is by debit card or bacs although we do also accept credit cards.
Our wee Farm Shop has porridge, milk, bread (frozen), muesli, cheese, marmalade, eggs, tea, coffee etc and you can order on line sausages, bacon, burgers etc which are supplied by our local butcher.
Yes everything is provided. There are two double duvets. Each one is inside a cotton sleeping bag which can be zipped up to make a sleeping bag each or can be used unzipped with one laid flat and the other one top. Two pillows are provided.
2 Bath Towels, 2 Hand Towels, Bath Mat are provided together with Robes and Slippers, plus Leisure towels for the hot tub. Shower Gel, Hand Soap and Shampoo are also provided.
There is a small Galley style kitchen with a sink, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, Kettle and Toaster.
Outside there is your own BBQ hut so you can cook almost anything. There are pans for the more adventurous chefs and a flat pan for frying your eggs!
There is a small fridge inside the Pod and also a larger fridge with an ice box for your own use in the wee green shed behind the BBQ hut. There is also a microwave in the wee green shed.
Food to cook on the BBQ although you can order through us when booking, such as Steak, Sausages, BBQ packs etc which are provided by our local butcher.
Warm outdoor clothes and appropriate footwear.
Yes you can bring your dog. However, please bear in mind it is probably better if it is a small dog! There are walks where dogs can be off leads but around your pod and the lodges, we do ask that your dog is kept on a lead at all times.
At the moment there is just the Rowan Pod but shortly there will be the Hawthorn Pod, which is slightly different. The Rowan Pod is situated on its own with lovely views in all directions. There are 633 acres of farmland to explore and we are just a half hour south of Edinburgh, and not much further from the sea.
Yes, there is underfloor heating throughout plus an infra red panel heater which keeps the temperature at 19/20 degrees. There is also a towel raill which is heated and can be switched on for up to 2 hours when required. Thee is an additional infr red panel heater if you need to top up the heat.
